The Ruggles heavy horse 280g V2 turnout rug is specifically designed for heavier breeds like Shire, Clydesdale, and Percheron, with a deeper and broader fit at the shoulder and chest. The rug is sold as a standard rug, and neck covers are available separately.
Made from 1200d waterproof and breathable outer fabric (5000mm/5000g/m2/24hrs), this rug is Teflon™ coated to offer additional protection, reducing staining and allowing moisture to bead off, making it lighter in wet conditions.
This rug features a soft nylon lining to help prevent rubbing and maintain a smooth coat. It includes taped seams for added durability.
Additional features include cross surcingles with rubber washers to help prevent unfastening, a very generous tail flap with reflective strip, and a shoulder pleat to allow for ease of movement. The rug also incorporates a wither protector.
The detachable webbing leg straps can be easily removed or replaced without requiring costly repairs.
At the chest, double adjustable chest straps with D rings and robust trigger clips enable quick attachment. Velcro at the chest enhances secure fitting.
Velcro fastenings beside the wither protector allow for the attachment of a neck cover if desired, available separately. Reflective strips are strategically placed at the chest, hind quarters, and tail flap for visibility, especially useful on roads.
The rugs are machine washable and come in a zipped bag with handles, convenient for storage when not in use.

EU COUNTRIES
Via the website we can now accept orders from most EU countries. Order values are restricted so that the goods can be sent under IOSS so in other words the prices you see are all inclusive so there will not be any taxes or charges payable before delivery. Should you require more items than the threshold allows please place a second order or contact us at sales@rugglesequestrian.co.uk and we can arrange for a different service and quote accordingly.

If you wish to return an item for an exchange to a different size/colour we would request that you complete the Returns Form (on the reverse of the delivery note/invoice) and return with the item(s). We will send replacements out at our cost on one occasion.
If you wish to return an item(s) for a refund then please complete the Returns Form and tick the refund box. We aim to process returns within 1 - 2 working days. The cost of returning these items to us is with the customer and must be received back within 30 days from date of order. If you paid for Next Day, Express or Saturday delivery, and the item was delivered on time (or attempted on time), no refund will be given for the carriage charge where unwanted goods are returned for a refund.
All goods being returned for exchange or refund must be in original condition and in the original packaging with no paperwork/labels attached to the packing bag. Items must be clean and fit for resale. If an item is returned to us that is dirty or hairy then we are unable to process your return request and the product will be returned to you at your cost OR we can refund 40% off the original cost of the product. This clause is in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and is for the protection and wellbeing of staff.
