The heavy horse heavyweight 400g V2 1200D turnout rug is made to fit heavier breeds like the Shire, Clydesdale, and Percheron, offering a deeper cut and more generous fit at the shoulder and chest. This rug is sold as a standard rug, with neck covers available separately if needed.
Manufactured with a 1200D waterproof and breathable outer fabric, it is Teflon coated for extra protection, reducing stains and moisture absorption, making it lighter to handle in wet conditions. Designed with a soft nylon lining to help prevent rubbing and maintain a smooth coat, it also includes taped seams.
This rug is equipped with cross surcingles featuring rubber washers to help prevent unfastening, a generous tail flap with a reflective strip, and a shoulder pleat to allow for ease of movement. Detachable webbing leg straps can be removed or easily replaced without costly repairs.
At the chest, it features double adjustable chest straps with D rings and quick release clips for easy adjustment, along with Velcro for secure attachment. Velcro fastenings beside the wither protector offer the option to attach a separate neck cover, listed separately. Reflective strips at the chest, hind quarters, and tail flap provide added visibility when needed.
Machine washable and comes in a zipped bag with handles for convenient storage when not in use.

EU COUNTRIES
Via the website we can now accept orders from most EU countries. Order values are restricted so that the goods can be sent under IOSS so in other words the prices you see are all inclusive so there will not be any taxes or charges payable before delivery. Should you require more items than the threshold allows please place a second order or contact us at sales@rugglesequestrian.co.uk and we can arrange for a different service and quote accordingly.

If you wish to return an item for an exchange to a different size/colour we would request that you complete the Returns Form (on the reverse of the delivery note/invoice) and return with the item(s). We will send replacements out at our cost on one occasion.
If you wish to return an item(s) for a refund then please complete the Returns Form and tick the refund box. We aim to process returns within 1 - 2 working days. The cost of returning these items to us is with the customer and must be received back within 30 days from date of order. If you paid for Next Day, Express or Saturday delivery, and the item was delivered on time (or attempted on time), no refund will be given for the carriage charge where unwanted goods are returned for a refund.
All goods being returned for exchange or refund must be in original condition and in the original packaging with no paperwork/labels attached to the packing bag. Items must be clean and fit for resale. If an item is returned to us that is dirty or hairy then we are unable to process your return request and the product will be returned to you at your cost OR we can refund 40% off the original cost of the product. This clause is in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and is for the protection and wellbeing of staff.
